I love learning new ways to improve my work. And I am so fortunate to know some awesome photographers who don’t mind sharing their knowledge. My colleague Mike Smith of Mike Smith Photography was kind enough to have  a “photographic jam session” a few weeks ago with a couple photographers and models. I wasn’t able to stay for the entire session, but I sure picked up a few good pointers from Mike. By the way, if you ever need a wedding photographer, I highly recommend Mike Smith. He does absolutely phenomenal work! He  has some awesome images with super creative lighting in his portfolio. Just blows me away!

Well, back to my own”dramatic lighting” session. First off, I have to say, I just love photographing this young lady. She makes my job easy and she is very comfortable in front of the camera.
